Contractor Licensing -- For consumers, an important era in construction commenced in Georgia on July 1, 2008. Other than specialy contractors, repair contractors and seepemost contractors will need to be licensed in the state to conduct business.
Do you have a construction issue with your current residence? Before you take legal action (whether commencing a lawsuit or seeking an ADR proceeding - Alternative Dispute Resolution such as arbitration or mediation), you may need to comply with the Georgia Right to Repair act which requires that you sent letters with specific information to comply with the act.
